The World Food Programme is dispersing iftar foods among refugee Rohingyas in Bangladesh

Ramadan is the holy month during which Muslims try to share greater love and affection.

"We just had water for iftar during Ramadan last year. Now, there is absolutely no scarcity for the iftar meal, but a feeling of despair grips us as we have not been able to meet our relativesfor the previous two years--after being displaced by our homeland in Mongdu under Rakhaine State," Rohingya man Lalu Mia stated.

They said they all lost their moms because Myanmar's soldiers murdered their mothers throughout widespread persecution from Rohingyas. Each year, during iftar, the Rohingyas think of their mothers who employed to provide them with tasty, homemade iftar items.

"Rohingya individuals were supplied with various iftar items ahead of Ramadan," Bangladesh's Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commission (RRRC) Md AbulKalam said.

The World Food Programme (WFP) is dispersing iftar items--petroleum, lentil, vermicelli, onion, and garlic--among the Rohingyas under an e-voucher programme,'' he said
